I left Canada for the United Kingdom with little more than a few possessions and a bright-eyed dream to travel to the one country where I could achieve the career title I truly wanted – KING. Turns out there are rules about these things. Thankfully, I could at least fall back on my creative skills. Trained as an art director and designer, my expertise spans traditional, experiential, digital and more.
Kingdoms aside, I’ve always followed a vision of big ideas. I’m a passionate advocate of original thinking. I have an instinctive understanding of human nature and a natural ability to tell a story that is meaningful to the audience.
I’ve had unparalleled experience in through-the-line creativity at Crispin Porter + Bogusly Canada (formally Zig Inc), Profero, FCB Inferno and M&C Saatchi. My portfolio includes multi award winning work on accounts such as MINI, IKEA, ASOS and Virgin Holidays.
My vision has been at the heart of many brand launches and has guided some of the world’s biggest brands, both online and offline. I’ve directed campaigns across MINI, Ikea, Orange, Virgin Holidays, M&S, Unilever, Peroni, Bacardi, Molson Coors, Diageo, Smirnoff and many more.
I’m proud that my work has been recognised by D&AD, Cannes, New York Art Directors, One Show, London International Advertising Awards, IPA, Grafik, Marketing, Campaign, BIMA and Webby’s.
But that’s just the beginning.
In short, I’m good at combining right and left brain thinking. I’m dogged in my pursuit of the essence of a problem and I’m capable of rallying a team around a distinctive solution.
So while King of England isn’t up for grabs, I’m aiming for the top among advertising royalty.
