Worked with ASOS Marketplace and Cheryl Cole to auction off some of her favourite outfits, with the proceeds going to the Princes Trust, through the Cheryl Cole Foundation.
ASOS in partnership with the Cheryl Cole Foundation, will retailed a capsule collective of twenty looks from the musician’s show-stopping wardrobe sold over two weeks on ASOS Marketplace. Ten looks were released on first day, followed by one new release on each week day of the sale.
The idea was for each item to be auctioned to the ‘lowest unique bid'. The lowest unmatched bid received, won the auction for that individual piece. All proceeds raised through the clothes was matched by the ASOS Foundation, doubling the amount raised.
Within the first few hours after the auction went live, there was frenzy of bids reaching over £6500 at a rate of 50 bids per minute. Her wardrobe clearout raised £48,000 in bids over the 2 weeks. Her boutique brought media attention and conversation to ASOS Marketplace.
